He then participated in another reality show, 10K10 Le Gaye Dil, and was the winner of the show. In 2008, he moved to Mumbai, and moved into a rented room in the Lokhandwala area of the city. Here he built his recording studio by investing prize money of Rs 10 lakhs from the 10 Le 10 Le Dil Dil serial. He became a music producer, and began composing music for advertisements, news channels and radio stations. Singh worked as a music producer for music directors such as Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Vishal-Shekhar, Mithun Sharma, Monty Sharma and Pritam Chakraborty in his early music career. While working with other composers, he mainly supervised the singers and chorus sections, but while working with Pritam, he started composing music on his own.
